Reviews for Sweetwater / I-75 / Exit 62 KOA

| Not the best KOA. The sites are so close to each other that the next sites sewage and hookups was next to our picnic table and sitting area. Not an enjoyable weekend. Hosts were very nice but we wont stay here again.

Yes, the sites are tight, but it is very cool and quiet. Bathrooms are excellent. Site sloped, had to unhook 5th wheel and level. Staff very helpful.

Very friendly staff. Easy access off Rt 75. Stopped for 2 nights during the week. Park was quite and peaceful. Nice laundry. Stayed in 32' MH towing a jeep. Would stay here again.

Not the best of KOAs! Sites are really close. The bathrooms and showers were a little dirty. Friendly and helpful staff.

We've stopped here on several occasions, usually just for an overnight stop. It's not fancy but the owners take care of it. Interstate I-75 traffic can be heard but it isn't that obvious. I don't know of a site that's perfectly level so be prepared with leveling blocks, jacks or something like that. The men's bathroom was very clean and so were the showers but the stalls are small/tight and I am 5'-10 and 180#. There was no handicap shower if that might be an issue. The hot water is HOT and felt good after a long drive. I will keep coming back as long as they take care of it and will be thankful for the occasion.

| OK for overnight

Tight sites, narrow, not level. Our site’s hookups were actually on the “property” of our neighbor, which tells how tight they are. Neighbor appeared to be a full-timer who went somewhere during the day (work?) and left their dog in camper all day. Dog barked whenever it heard us outside. Thankfully, it would stop and didn’t bark constantly, but enough to be mildly annoying. VERY pleasant people in the office. Nicely shaded. Away from highway so it is quiet. I’d use this as an overnight stop, but don’t think of this as a long-term destination campground.

With the tropical storm heading to this KOA, I asked if we could shorten our stay and get a refund for the ONE unused day. Was told no refunds. So they don t care about the camper, only themselves. Regarding the campground, we were in a double pull thru which is a very odd setup. The rig in the back has to back out. How is that a pull thru? With any site, I should be able to pull out and back in as needed but here since I am sharing a Double pull thru with a total stranger, neither of us actually have a pull thru. So did not get what I paid for. Also, with this arrangement, the power poles/sewer connections are oddly placed. Ours was up where our tow vehicle was, very odd. The fire rings were too close together, Our fire ring was closer to rv behind us in the double pull thru . The sites at this KOA are very close together and the Double pull thru is another way they cram more campers in a small space.

Excellent service, everything was clean and prices were good. Campsite 10 was level enough I never had to make adjustments.
