Lanesboro is located in Eastern Minnesota on a Scenic Byway. It's a lovely, quaint town with numerous bike trails so it attracts a lot of people who may be camping or RVing. However, their signage is confusing or non-existent. We found Sylvan Park right on the main street of town, but it appeared that we would be turning into the parking lot of the local library and city park. A simple sign with the universal symbol of a tent and/or trailer with an arrow would have been very helpful. There was no evidence of an RV park and we were reluctant to turn into a parking lot where it may be difficult to turn around with our 21' trailer. I won't embarrass myself with where we ended up, but it was a long way from the park on a bluff where it was even harder to turn around! We finally went back on a circuitous route and found the RV area at the far back section of the city park. It was a lovely site with a small pond and two fountains, and a large family of ducks waddled by during dinner. The $30 hook-up sites are small, and the restrooms/showers need a good cleaning and a coat of paint.
