We lucked into finding a spot here with full hookups and plenty of room. The park was clean and well monitored. While I didn't use the facilities, I saw that many people did. We stayed three nights. It's close to the city so everything is within easy striking distance yet the scenery is just gorgeous.
We went in April during a slow spring weekend. The camp was quiet, well maintained and the showers were clean. Can't wait to go back. We've already reserved two more trips for this year. We stayed in campground 2 with full hook ups.
If you have over 7 people in your party, they make you reserve 2 lots or pay for a family site which is $25 extra a night. I dont need a extra site my camper sleeps 9. Why do I need to pay for an extra site, I'm not going to use or pay more for a family site. Squeeze every last dollar out of someone.
This may be one of the best state parks we have been in. Plenty of space, out in the peaceful country, almost lakeside.(within sight of some of the lake) Great lakeside bike/walking trail and easy access back to the Table Rock dam, and a very informative COE info center. Would have been a 5star, if it had any wifi.
Nice lots but closer than at some state parks. There is water in campground but no hook ups at the individual sites.
Nice long asphalt pads, lots of well-maintained hiking trails, and just the right distance from Branson. Liked the option of electric only to lower the price even further. Friendly, helpful staff with lots of information on what to do in the area. Would certainly come back if in the area.
Full hook ups are first rate. Bathhouse (showers and toilets sinks are showing their age. Table Rock lake is very close and of course Branson. The primitive sites are nice too.
