Reviews for Taos Valley RV Park & Campground

| Nice Park

Fairly open and exposed with little shade but from what we saw driving by other parks in the area this is the norm so no ding on the rating here. Spots in our mind are a bit close together and the wifi, although a strong signal, was essentially worthless on any of our three devices. On the positive side very nice hosts, clean and private bathrooms with private showers and numerically coded locks so that only campers have access, and a nice common area for socializing, playing games and such. Very nice Mexican restaurant on the corner as well as an ACE hardware should your rig need any repairs but for anything else you'll want wheels or be prepared for a bit of a stroll.

I liked this campground. It was quite, close to town, clean, bathrooms were ok, and had a place you could walk your dogs. We will stay here again when we come back to Taos.

| Great RV Park

We stayed 2 nites for Taos area visit, really good park with sheltered tables, great locking bathroom/shower facilities, and nice views of the surrounding mountains and we had a sunset view. Tucked in town at edge, get still secluded and easy to get to everything.

| Good enough

Stayed for 3 nights. Site was large enough for the 5er but no room for the tow vehicle. Mgmt allowed me to park the truck up front. Site was a pull in so utilities were on the wrong side but we managed. Chief complain and this holds with many parks they don't do much to accommodate large rigs by reassigning incoming guests to a smaller but more than adequate site. Several class B rigs in larger pull through sites. Oh well it's their park I'm just a guest who was happy to get a spot.

Nice park in the shadow of the Sandia's. Level spaces with good hook ups. Enjoyed the stay. Excellent food at La Cocina de Taos. Very close.

| Excellent RV Park

We stayed a week at this park. Service is excellent. Good laundry facilities. Clean bathrooms, but only one pair. If you are at the back of the campground, it's a walk to get there. The spaces are a little close, but not so close you are crowded with slides and awning out. There is some vegetation between sites and some shade. Pull thru sites accommodate some really big rigs. There is a trail to walk dogs, but watch out for cacti just off the trail. Wi-fi is the best I've experienced at a park, even without booster, etc. Grills and tables at all sites, but no fire rings. It is very dry and dusty. This is a great place to serve as base for Santa Fe (about 1.5 hour drive), the Enchanted Circle, and sightseeing and shopping around Taos. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice clean place, good laundry facility. Good playground for the kid. We stayed here for three nights while enjoying the area. Our assigned site was a bit shallow and the sewer hook up was almost beyond the reach of our hoses, but there were other sites that were longer. The turn from the main road onto Este Es was a bit tight. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.
