| Getting Away From It All
This is a very small RV Park on a cove of Buchanan Lake with full hookups. We stayed in #'s 8 and 9 facing the water. The owners are very, very nice and willing to make your stay all that you want it to be. They brought us a fire ring and offered us some wood as well. We had one good day of weather and then it rained hard the second day. We had planned to stay 3 days, but the weather made that impossible. This would be a great place to fish in the spring because it has a great boat launch. I couldn't give it a 5 star rating because it did not have laundry or shower facilities and the stickers were so bad they got into everything. The owners are working on this with the county extension agent to get rid of the stickers. We will stay here again in the spring when the stickers are gone.
| Lake Buchanan
Nice, clean, new, park. Small, only 10 spaces or so. Great place if you have a boat and plan to use it while your there. Will probably spend another weekend here. No bath house, no playground, don't plan on swimming.
| Great place to unwind
Stayed 3 days, we were the only campers. It’s very clean and off the beaten path. The Cummings are very good host. Will go again next spring to do some cat fishing.
