I wasn't sure what to expect when I made a 2 night reservation at 'The Cove'. I had read mixed reviews and my nephew and my girlfriend, who accompanied me, were not that impressed. However, I saw a diamond in the rough here. Below are my pros and cons: Pros: - Pristine setting between 2 mountain ranges with numerous ponds/lakes. - Close to Tuscarora/Great Eastern Trail and Great North Mountain. Cons: - All water spigots are 'shared'. - The final 2 mile approach road to the campground is not for the faint of heart or those that obcess about their vehicle. About 100 sites, 10-12 have 20/30/50A electric, shared water, dump station. Activities include swimming, fishing, hiking, shooting, ATVing, Snow Tubing (in season) and jeep trails. Being an outdoors person I really liked this campground and may return some day.
