Stayed overnight and toured the Grotto. Electric hookups on grassy park like setting included BBQ. For $16 it was a wonderful stopover. Showers were near another camping area so it was a bit of a walk. They were clean. We stayed in the park like area near the pond and had the whole area to ourselves until a scout troop came in. They were the nicest quiet bunch of young men though. We found it entertaining to watch them setup, feed all these kids, and then they spread out over the grounds to sleep under the stars. We would go back in a heartbeat.
We stayed overnight on Passport America. Very good value, and made it able to make a donation to the Grotto. 2 sites, and the north site was far from toilets, so we chose the site nearer the Grotto. Amazing life work by a Catholic priest in 1912...well worth a visit if you go. Hourly tours are informative and entertaining. Will definitely go again if possible.
