Reviews for The Meadows RV Park

| The Meadows RV Park is the Pits

An awful experience will be had by all. Rude staff on check-in. Crampped sites with shared hookup islands on the street side and a shared picnic table on the curb side. Staff delights on cramming large coaches side by side when there is ample room for spacing coaches apart. We will never stay here again. This RV Park has a Lock on being the only Park with full hookups in Ketchem/Sun Valley, so the staff cares little about RVers.

| Don't Make the Mistake of Staying Here!

Poor service, unbelievably cramped sites (our neighbor could not open his awning without hitting our RV!), super expensive laundry facilities (and, a very unaccommodating woman running it), noisy highway location and a posted rule for everything. Those rules always resulted in a threatened fine. Very unwelcoming. Only game in town. Will pick a national park campground over this awful place next time! Do not make the mistake of staying here! Heed the warnings you read in these reviews. We should have. . .

Yes, not very welcoming park!! Pulled in before lunch and was told to leave and don't come back till 1:00. There were plenty of open sites, but we're told to leave. We left and glad we did. We drove 13 miles south to Bellevue to Riverside RV park for 27$ instead of 40$ at The UNFRIENDLY Meadows park. We also got 50amp and full hookups with pleasant hosts!!!

| Great location!

The park is staffed with two exceptional ladies,Debbie and Teresa (maybe there are others?). River and bike trail a couple hundred yards away. Ketchum is 3.3 miles away. The highway noise is minimal. No cable but satellite works great. Stayed here 5 nights in our class A motorhome with tow vehicle. Probably not very kid friendly (due to lack of amenities) but the location is excellent!

| No problem

We didn't have any problems staying at this park. We just needed a place to stay and it worked well. The lady who checked us in was nice and even though there were a lot of rules posted they were just common sense rules. $43.20 for one night.

| Closest RV park to Sun Valley

By user-5125121... on 2017-10-23.

Just off the highway and a short walk to the bike path and Big Wood River. We stayed here in a motorhome in July for 1 night. The spaces are relatively small, but adequate. Improvements are minimal, gravel and grass sites with full hook-ups...no cable TV. The staff was friendly and accommodating during our brief stay. Very convenient to the Hailey/Ketchum/Sun valley areas. The bike path goes from Bellevue to Ketchum. We would definitely stay there again. Paid $40 for one night.

| Camp Host is horrible

Beware if you arrive after 8Pm - the camp host will yell at you, even if you have a reservation. Spots are very narrow, don t even think about your awning. Your door will be 8 feet from your neighbor! Would NEVER stay here again. I ll stay 20 min down the road.

Best location in Sun Valley. The park Is a couple of mIles from Ketchum and seven from Hailey. Bathrooms and showers are very clean. Very good wi-fi and cell. Next to long bike path joInIng all the towns. Yes, the spaces are narrow and you share the water faucet and electrical post with your neighbor, but that was no hardship. After reading the negative comments about the staff my wife and I were expecting a former penitenary warden as host. We were pleasantly surprised. Teresa couldn t have been more pleasant and accommodating. I really don t understand the negative comments. Obviously they didn t like the rules, which at first blush, seemed unreasonable. On our third day I asked Teresa about the two check in rules; no late or early check ins, which seemed to me as harsh. She explained that because of the narrow spots and the location of the utilities, people trying to park their rigs after dark had damaged the utility posts and had driven over and damaged the sewers. That s the reason for the 8pm deadline. As to the 1pm check in the host is a one person operation and until 1pm is performing her other jobs at the park. Plenty of play area for our three year old lab.

You have to like your neighbors as your doors share a small grass spot and table. Ok for a couple of days if you have friendly neighbors.
