This is a very nice park about 25 miles south of Burns. Pretty good spacing between sites, although it was pretty much empty when we were there. Good Sam, Escapee's, and Passport America discounts. Small, clean laundry facilities. Park is well-kept and nicely landscaped. We had an issue with a 50-amp breaker on Sunday. I reported it to the office and the next morning an electrician was there to replace the breaker. There is gas and diesel on site, but it's pricey - better to drive into Burns for fuel. Small store that has just about everything you might need. Restaurant on site with very good food. We would stay there again if in the area.
I've stayed here twice at different times of the year and have always been pleased with my stay.
What a great find! Good camping and a great cafe! They even have veggie options! Had an excellent veggie burger for lunch and peach pie with ice cream for dinner. Beautiful area with lots of birding and wildlife. Nice laundry. Only drawback was the charge for a hot shower but they probably get lots of folks just looking for a shower and meal so plan to shower in your camper if that is a problem. Great staff, super nice and helpful. Highly recommend!
