Signed to stay 1 year as it was close to hubby’s work. The managers Gloria & Jon are two fantastic people who treat you like family. They are on top of things while at the same time have a laid back approach. The park is kept clean and our neighbors are respectful to others. The lake is beautiful especially at sunset. Wine around the fire pit is a nice way to unwind. To make the park better I wished there was a pool to cool off in or a large shelter on these hot Florida days.
Facing the lake are the best spots for feeling serene. Clean and flat, beautiful old trees. Regional airport across the street, but not much noise and got to watch a sea plane practice on the lake one day. Friendly and helpful staff. Not a fan of the showers though, hot water goes off after two minutes and you have to wait through several minutes of cold water to get another two minutes of hot. (Yes, we actually timed it and it was just short of two full minutes.) Otherwise enjoy our stay.
Over priced for what it is. The lake view is beautiful and lots of birds and critters. That s where it stops. Cramped spaces no amenities. Road noise is very loud and 24 hours a day. Airport across the street and it s non stop take offs and landings. We tried to shower in the bathhouse and never had more than 2 minutes of hot water. Cold water showers are the thing. If they were charging $25 it s one thing but almost $60 is ridiculous. Try someplace else.
We really are enjoying our long weekend here. Previous reviewers complained about road and airport noise but we really had no problems with either of these. The sites are level and perfectly kept with large concrete pads and gravel. The size was very generous in our experience. The view of the gorgeous lake is perfect and sunsets were vibrant. The docks were well maintained for access add to the enjoyment. Management was friendly and helpful. WiFi works well and having a dog run was a great feature for us. We didn t use the bath facilities since we always prefer our own. Such a nice place to stay, we will be back when we head to central Florida again!
