I'm not sure when the name changed, but this campground is now called "The Ridge." I stayed here on a weeknight as an overnight stop. The manager was friendly and helpful. Other than the large number of seasonal campers, there appeared to be only one other "transient" on this particular night. The campground is well maintained, and was very quiet on the night I stayed. They do have a pretty sophisticated stage for musical acts that are scheduled on weekendd, so it is probably a more lively spot on the weekends. The non-seasonal campsites are on grass and could possibly be muddy if there had been a lot of recent rain. Some of the sites were also kind of unlevel, but since there were plenty of open spaces on the night I was there, the manager was happy to find me a nice level spot fit my older motorhome without hydraulic leveling. The bathrooms were older and adequately clean, although the showers looked like they were undergoing repairs. I would gladly stay here agsin when passing through this area.

They parked on what had been a gravel pad many years ago but was now grass with a few stones. The roads in the campground are pretty much gone. We were escorted to our pull thru which turned out to be a pull in. When we asked how we were supposed to get out we were told we could back out or drive across the grass but don t go here or there or damage anything. We decided to leave a day early because of rain coming and A 40 ft 5th wheel on wet grass in the is not a situation we wanted to be in. They had told us they would refund the night but when we went in to get it they said they would credit us for a night in the future. We full time RV and will not be back.
