Nice park, not will not stay again. Everyone looks like they live there and couldn't get to water.

| Nice staff but rude short & long term campers

Staff: Very kind staff who really go out of their way to welcome you. If something is broken, they try to make it better. Campers: Long term people....some are DEFINITELY dodgy. They seem to mix the long and short term sites up together. This must not be agreeable to the long term people as they have sabotaged some of the sites next to them. They broke off the tap for the water and absolutely packed the sewage drain with red sand. The resort staff moved us to another site that was much better, despite the 10 kids (approx ages 8-12 years) that insisted in popping caps and screaming right outside our RV. I actually had to ask them not to play under our awning. The parents were nice enough people, but their loud drunken female visitor that finally departed after 11pm, was very loud and super annoying. Soooo, positives...staff Negatives....long term campers, noisy kids running wild at times, regular campers that have loud guests.

| Narrow and Unlevel sites

We arrived after sunset so navigating the park was difficult. There is a short row of 50amp sites available that are very very narrow if you have a large (43ft) fifth wheel. We couldn’t get into the 50amp site but was able to find a 30amp pull through that was bigger than the previous. Internal road conditions were poor and as the previous reviewer said, the annual people gave snarky looks to us as we were setting up. Honestly, big rig access is very limited so if you are not experienced with your rig, you will have a lot of problems at this campground. The lake is nice but be prepared to hike up the hills! I’ll add some views of the sites from my drone.

PASS IT BY!! When you call the campground number it automatically sends you to thousand trails. We reserved by phone 1.5 hours before our arrival. When we arrived, there was no one in the office, no way to get through the gate so we had to call the number again. And again get National thousand trails. After about a half hour a lady calls and tells us a site to pull into. Which was already taken!! She drove out, seemed frustrated, directed us to another site and took off. No apology. We d received email and text confirmations immediately after our reservation so I m sure she did to. Next we find the sewer opening was jammed tight with no way to open it so no full hook up. Then to top it off, we find one of our tow car straps had been removed during the night. We d just pulled the car 500 miles and it was impossible that it could have just come off. It was purposefully removed. That could have been a disaster for not just us but many people on the interstate. I don t understand why anyone would EVER pay the money to stay in one of the horrible ENCORE THOUSAND trails resorts . What a nightmare.
