| No Full Hookups

Location is great and so can the views. Unfortunately you can see they are trying to improve but sadly fall too short. Way too short. The employees are unhappy and it shows. We were told at checkin they are under paid and have an extremely high turnover rate. The check in area is a disaster and be prepared for it to take forever. They seem to be trying to upgrade their restrooms/showers but I couldn t help but notice the larger rigs and larger expensive Class A vehicles with 50 amp hookups have absolutely no shade and is literally a dirt/gravel parking lot. Dusty in summer and muddy in winter. Without full hookups, Thousand Trails will charge you $25 to come and dump your tanks or you must drive it over to one of the two dump stations. The laundry is done with a card and costs $. Ridiculous. After the labor of staying here you ll need a vacation from this stay.

| A Nice Place

After reading the reviews posted by other campers, we were a bit apprehensive about our stay at this park. The location is really beautiful and the sites are fairly level and well kept. The staff, with one single exception, were lovely and helpful. The one exception was a woman at the front gate who seemed to feel that she was "protecting" us from some unseen danger by grilling our guests when they came to visit and then being rude to me when I came up to the gate to clarify that we HAD put their name on the "guest list" the day before. We would also like to suggest that TT invest in more sewer sites for the park. There are only 5 sites with sewer hookups and because this is located in a very nice residential area, it seems that more sewer sites could be added without too much trouble. With more and more of us full-timing, sewers become more and more important to the operation of campgrounds. There is NO over-the-air tv reception and the WiFi is non-existant, so if connectivity to the rest of the world is important, this won't be a good spot for you. We did get decent Verizon coverage, so that was our link to the world while we were there. We will come back because the campgrounds are lovely and very well kept. And the majority of the staff are wonderful.
