Nice campground fairly close to 101. Paved sites. Ours was quite level. Only issue we had was no sewer.

This is a very nice campground along the Russian River. It provides year round access to the river and all the campsites are paved pads. The campground is very hilly so big rigs have limited choices. There us free wifi access in the lodge and satellite TV in the lodge as well as a well equipped campground store. We also received good rv reception on 3 PBS channels. Cell phone reception on tmobile was quite good as well as excellent internet access on t mobile. The campsites are very spacious and there are many hiking trails. It is heavily wooded but they have an excellent campground map detailing which campsites have tv reception and satellite reception.

This review is based on the manager Weldon T. I have only been a member for 3 months. First time at the Russian River Cloverdale, CA TT resort from September 16-30,2014. I went to the lodge to watch TV employees including the Manager were talking so i picked up the remote to find some thing to watch, then Weldon briskly walks over talking to me hostile were watching the game, there nothing else to watch, repeating himself several times. He took the remote out of my hand and said don't touch that remote do I have to take the remote because I will, I well hide it.
If he was using the TV he just could have said so' and I would have waited until the game was over even though members have first dibs on the TV over employee's. Did not apologize or any thing. I told the manager how that was not right all he had to say was next time I will just hide the remote.

The campground is right next to the Russian river. It is very nice and woodsy. Campsites are spacious and hilly so you are not right next to your neighbor. The rangers here are very nice and friendly. They make you feel right at home. We received excellent cell phone and internet service on our t-mobile cell phones. Also we found 3 PBS channels over the air broadcast. But you have to point you antenna right at the mountain to get them. They come in nice and clear but you have to really search to find them.

This campground is located on a hill above the Russian River. It is divided into four campground loops. Because it is very hilly it is best for big rigs to go to the C loop which is larger and csn accomodate larger rigs. The A loop is closest to the river and can accomodate a few big rigs. B loop is better suited to snaller rigs as it is steep and hilly. Each of the campground loops has a central restroom area with one washer and dryer for each loop. This makes doing the wash quite easy as most sites are just a few steps away from the washer and dryer. The campground is completely paved and all campground sites are paved as well so it is a very clean park. The only negative for the park is there are no full hookup sites. They just added a beautiful new playground in the A loop which is very popular with children. They also have a very nice family lodge, store, river raft rentals and satelite tv.

Just awesome customer service by Danielle at the ranger station! We arrived at the campground and found one of our right tires was flat. We had a pump and so pumped up the tire and then we found 3 big bubbles on the outer part of the tire. We thought that this was a little strange so we went over to the ranger station and talked to Danielle. She was so helpfull and kind. She offered us many different tow conpanies to call. We called Les Schwab in Windsor and Danielle guided him in. Les Schwab replaced our tire right at our campsite! Thank you so much Danielle and Thousand Trails for your awesome service and help with us.

Nice people

On our recent trip we had planned to stay 2 days at this nice and quiet place. Unfortunately we received news that had us canceling the second day due to an illness in the family. Lisa Marie was kind enough to refund the unused portion so we could leave. Would definitely go back.

First time in a thousand trails campground and if this an accurate representation of the company, I am so thankful I did not join. No WiFi at any sites even though I specifically asked when I made the reservation. You drive through the maze of tightly packed sites and try to find an empty site. Kind of like we do at some state and national parks, except we just paid $$74.18 ($61+13.18 tax) per night here vs. $15-30 at a National Park. No cable tv or sewer only electric and water for $74.18 per night

A cool place to visit

A very nice place to visit. The staff was great. The area was fascinating rich with history.
Our stay was very good other than weak water pressure. Spent two nights and other than the weak water, I would stay here again.

Peaceful quiet

Lots of trees, it is a first come - first serve place. We were here during the weekdays so lots of places to choose from. The spaces are paved but to get to them it is tight winding asphalt roads. No sewer hook up but there is a dump station. Friendly staff.
