| This won't be a favorite, but met some great people

This was admittedly a last resort, when we could not get into the park we wanted. It was workable, but barely. We met some great people and the staff was helpful and friendly. The power was AWFUL, both 30A and 50A. We ran the generator when we needed more than lights. We started in a 30A space, but when we encountered the awful power, we moved the next day to a 50A site, which was not much better. At least there we could run a hair dryer. 50A sites are hard to find. I had to have staff help to identify one. You need to know what you are looking for. They have a different kind of box on the post. The restroom nearest us was locked and the portable toilets placed nearby were over full, gross and unusable. The next closest restroom was about a block away, but it worked. They have lots of annual rentals, some with a mandatory "week out" requirement when they put the rope/tape across the site to show they are not there. While it is a HUGE park, some areas a bit more undesirable, due to the locals living there who do not respect the park. Our next visit here, if there is one, will be because some other "last resort" was also not available.

This park has obviously not improved since 2015. Before our arrival we received an e-mail stating that do to the high demand for electricity with the high temperatures to please be patient with the resort. We question about the electricity when checking in. We were assured it was ok. We heads to loop B & tried to hook into the electrical box with our surge protector. The surge protector keep saying open circuit and would not let electricity pass. We tried about 5 other spots with the same results! We went to loop Q which had low voltage. Then up to loop N which was a little better. Lots of the sites were blocked out due to broken electrical boxes and wiring! Also some sites had water and sewer issues! Thank goodness we have solar panels and generators. Also tried to do laundry in the adult section. Most of the washer machines and dryers are out of order. In it's hey day this was probably a very nice resort! Now it needs a lot of work and TLC! I wouldn't recommend bringing a big rig in! Where is the corporate support?

| Very strange

This place is getting renovated but is such a mess. Felled trees, closed store, dirty pool and endless folks that live there permanently complete with fences, sheds, and piles of stuff. Various sites have caution tape, dug up hookups, and debris. I wonder if this was ever nice and why are they building new buildings?

| Run Down

This place was probably in its prime 30 years ago. Now run down and not worth it. Fine for a quick nights stop but that s it. Mini golf inoperable, family pool looks great but isn t open until Memorial Day, a lot of full timers and old rigs.

This park is very run down. Deferred maintenance is a severe problem. They don't fix things just put up signs that things are broken , sewer , electrical, etc. The park has great potential but ELS will not spend the resources to bring it up to par.
