We found this place to be a gem. $39 for a partial hookup is a great value for having a nice spot under beautiful trees with very friendly people and staff around. The location is fantastic for exploring Sequioa. The tent sites are located close to the river (not at the river) which is also fab. Next time we might actually consider dry camping here.
Not sure who would give this dump 4 stars. It's mostly filled with trashy trailers with all their junk piled up outside. The laundry was filthy. The whole place is run down and dirty. $39 per night full hook up, no water until around 10 every morning due to frozen pipes. (Including the icky bathrooms)
The showers and laundry very clean. Friendly. The area is gorgeous.
We spend a night after visiting sequoia. It is good located and very quiet. Yes there are some people living there permanently but it is all clean and very friendly.
Whilst we only stayed for one night, and would have loved to have stayed longer, we really enjoyed the serenity of the site and hospitality of the owner Dave. This is a perfect location for entering Sequoia park (please be very mindful that if your RV is over 22ft you will not be permitted to use this entrance). Showers/bathroom immaculate and good laundry room. Well recommended.
A bit pricey A bit dumpy Hand to stabilize rv on small gravel/pebble which was different. No concrete all gravel. Harder for kids to ride bikes. Spaces are compact. I stepped out my rv and the neighbors waste drain was a step away. Seems like lots of long term residents as well.
Lovely RV park and campinggrounds with everyhing you'll need! This guy Tom, that stays there with his family, really made the time at three rivers hideaway perfect! Thx for the warm welcome Tom and your BBQ where killer!
The entry to the park is a hard turn into a rocking and rolling experience leading downhill over several large speed bumps where you block park traffic to park by the tiny office for checkin. You get no map or instruction sheet, just a look at his map to your site, and you are off on your own. All back-in sites. Water is on and off. Tiny building for laundry. A vey cramped place, likely set up in the 1950s. Only 3-4 sites have 50 amp. No Verison service and his web service is terrible. Everything in town is over-priced, including gas and food.
The place was not kept up, tons of flies and spots were really tight. Staff members were never seen.
