Are you a member of the Escapees RV Club?
Do you travel down the I-5 corridor through Oregon?
If you answered "yes" to the above, Timber Valley SKP Park (SKP Co-op Park) in Sutherlin, OR is a great place to stop. (https://timbervalleyskp.com/)
In past years we have stopped at casino RV Resort 38 miles north of Sutherlin, before or after going over Grants Pass on our snowbird journeys south. Unfortunately, their rate has significantly increased, forcing us to seek an alternative and Timber Vally looks like our new roost in this area.
POSITIVE:
Huge RV sites (55′ x 70′) - gravel with concrete patio
$21 daily rate for full hookup
Pay for 6 days, get 7th free ($126/wk)
Monthly - $340 plus $.10 per kWh for electricity
Boondocking (dry camping sites) $5/nt
All sites have 30/50 amp electrical
Very good wi-fi
Easy site access - paved roads and lots of space for parking
Very well kept park with good landscaping
Wild jack rabbits and turkeys abound throughout the park
NEGATIVE:
Escapees members only
Cash only
First come/First served. No reservations
Back-in sites only
All RV’s must be self-contained. Park does not have showers.
We stayed here for 8 days and enjoyed our stay, watching the wild turkeys right outside or rig, and the best wi-fi I've had at an RV park for a long, long time.
