| The “pull-thru” section was right next to I-90

By user-5852471... on 2017-10-23. Stayed 2016-09-28 to 2016-10-01

We stayed three nights in the fall. Check in was okay. I was told that as of May 2016 that this campground was under new management. Not sure what that really meant, but okay. It’s right off I-90 and we were in the “pull-thru” upper section (more on this later) which was right next to I-90 and of course it was very noisy all night long. The “pull-thru” area is for short stay RV’rs was basically a grass field. No pads, no gravel and not very level. We had FHU’s but I was told my site was 50Amp, NO it was 30Amp and all the other sites around me were also 30Amps too. The water pressure was fine, but the flow was very weak. As soon as you open a faucet, the pressure went to zero, so the water from the shower head was also weak. I was also told when leaving the pull-thru site to find a way to get back to the road. Well, the picnic tables and fire pits are all in front of the sites, so there’s no way to pull forward and turn around to get back to the road. You need to back out into the road. The park looks like it has a lot of seasonal and/or permanent trailers. They have Wi-Fi, but only in the lower section, not where we were. We had a good T-Mobile signal, so I used my hotspot. I didn’t use the pool (I think it was closed anyway), however the bath house was primitive and the laundry adequate. It's probably a nice spot with the family in the summer with tons of green grass, play area and the pool. I would likely not stay again, too noisy.

| Nice Overnight

By user-5797603... on 2017-10-23.

Visited in a Class A and camped in an overnight pull-through spot. Wonderful campsite with thick green turf and bathrooms close by. Not sure if the spot would be as desirable in wet conditions but it was perfect for late May. Bathrooms were fine and had a fresh coat of paint. The campground is huge and the expansive but well groomed. Staff was friendly and handled our advance reservation well. There is quite a bit of road noise from 90 but its a tradeoff with the campgrounds easy access to and from same. No wi-fi detected but lots of wildlife including many types of birds and rabbits! We would be happy to camp here again.

| Good Manager

By user-6427489... on 2019-08-09.

This is a rural RV park that has been here for some time. The bulk of the sites are occupied by folks that live here (pipeline workers), and folks that park their RVs and visit on weekends - no issues, it was mostly quiet. We booked a week stay, and were initially not unhappy with the park. Yes, the sites are mostly grass, and the transient site we were assigned was next to the (very busy) highway. The 50A full hookup spot was mostly level, with convenient hookups. The included WiFi did not provide a signal that was useful, but the Verizon cell service was good. No cable tv, there are a few over the air channels that are available and most sites have a big enough sky for satellite. While hooking up, the Manager Donna stopped by to make sure we were getting settled okay. I pointed out when I was connecting the electric, that the voltage seemed to be low, and she told me they were working on it, and it was supposed to be finished last fall. The new date is by the 4th of July - hopefully that will be the case. The power indeed proved to be unsatisfactory as our surge protector kept kicking off with a low voltage error code, so I headed to the office and I explained we could not put up with the issue for a week. She allowed us to leave and provided a refund. She is a Superstar Manager for stepping up and handling the situation professionally and effectively.
