Roads are really full of pot holes, bathroom is locked up. We pulled in hoping to stay and didn't. Perhaps if the bath house had been open for we would have overlooked the horrible roads but with that as no available bathhouse we went on down the road. Price advertised was $15/night FHU.

TIps Park is a public city park with a dozen or so RV spots. It has definitely seen better days, by the town does a good job mowing and keeping trash picked up. There’s water, sewer and electricity. It’s supposed to be $15 a night and pay the park host. There was no park host the night we stayed. So it’s a cash only honesty system with a drop slot on the back of the bathroom building. (Bathrooms are closed and locked.) There was only us, two other rigs, and airstream that looks permanent but with no one there. There were a few locals shooting hoops during the day and some by the river fishing. Yes it’s across the river from the Valero refinery, but the noise is indistinguishable from the river over the dam. Quiet, low traffic, and cheap. Perfection a one night stop.

And no no camp host stick your money in the back door of the restrooms. and the restrooms are still locked they probably only open those for special events but everything worked and on those hot humid nights it's nice to plug in for $15 and run that air conditioner. I planed to go to Walmart down the road but it sure was nice to have some AC and the refinery next door is noisy but you won't hear it over the AC running.
