Reviews for Toledo East / Stony Ridge KOA

Friendly workers but overpriced for what you get. Muddy and misquotes but it may have been because of record rain before we arrived.

An ok Campground. It had just rained when we got there, so puddles of water everywhere. Campground access roads had huge, deep puddles. Not easy to drive your RV through the dips. Barely heard the trains, though. WiFi was poor

We only stayed overnight. Lots of shade trees so satellite is not an option. Very grumpy unfriendly staff. Spots for large rigs and pull through spots. As it had rained hard, we did not use the facilities. Dirt roads. Small pool.

Camped with a Class A. We were given a premium pull through spot with a level, gravel site with a concrete picnic pad. Very nice site but did not use amenities. Staff was friendly and helpful and led us to our site without a hitch. Campground is close to the turnpike so easy access. The only negative that we noted was frequent train traffic with locomotive horns at night. Probably would not be an issue if you keep your windows closed and AC on. We would stay here again.

This KOA is in a beautiful setting. Under new ownership as of June 2018. Many nice updates in pool, store and bathrooms. We plan to stop again on our trips east.
