We camp here several times a year in a big rig. Concrete pads, lots of privacy in most sites. Great biking and tram rides to the beach. Pet friendly

Heard a lot about Topsail, so decided to stop. Site was nice, but thought spaces were a little tight. I was in site 26. Would rate James Island in Charleston and Skidaway in Savannah above it, tho.

Where to begin, the gorgeous aqua water, the pure soft white sugar sand beach, the beautiful tropical landscaped full hook-up campsites, the scenic paved bike trails? So many positive things about this park and campground that we wouldn't hesitate to return here in the future. Nice restrooms & laundry facilities also, wifi depends on campsite, but works well by store & laundry room. Only 2 negatives the 2 weeks of our visit was we had to watch for ticks, even though we use frontline plus on our pug, the Florida ticks persevered. But we were in the woods & they obviously thrive there. The other is with Florida state parks in general, they don't allow dogs on the beaches, not even if carried or on a bike, which is annoying and inconvenient for dog lovers. However, we still enjoyed our time there, liked escaping the cold north plus avoiding the crowds of mid & southern Florida & would highly recommend!

Topsail has set the bar for other parks we stayed in. Our site was a bit small as we booked late November, 2016. We will be back next year for sure. It was a great 3/4 mile walk to the beach and what a great beach. Our only regret was not bringing our bikes with us. There are no fire pits so we used our small grill. The highlight of our stay was seeing the full moon on the beach. The park is quiet, clean and comfortable. This was the first time we have camped in our 20 foot trailer out of our state of Wisconsin. Topsail is close to shopping and great places to eat.

This place is beautiful. Spacious lots, friendly staff and quiet. Bring a bicycle. We have traveled all over the u.s. and this is one of the best overall RV parks that we have stayed.

Nice, shady campground spaces. Laundry, pool, tram, plenty of trails, biking, walking, running, exploring. Woods, paved trails, unpaved trails too. Lakes, fishing, beach. Expect to walk a ways out to the beach past the sand dunes. There is a board walk through the dunes. Camp store, friendly staff. Rentable kayaks, canoes, boards.

Very nice and well maintained State Park with friendly staff. Will accommodate big motorhomes. Booked for 2 nights and ended staying 4. Tram ride to the beach staffed by volunteers. Will definitely stay again. Highly recommend.

Topsail is great. Was a private RV park that state took over years ago so it has many amenities other state parks don't including FHU, cable, seasonal pool, level sites, wooded, paved roads. Super clean bathouses, tram to beach and nice staff & volunteers. Nice cabins too. Also has 10 miles of trails and of course gorgeous beach. Very convnient right off Hwy 98 and grocery stores nearby.

We loved our time at Topsail and were especially grateful that they have beach wheelchairs for use for our son. Everything was beautifully kept Ann's I hasn't expected a state park to have a pool, laundry room, etc. Loved it

This place is amazing. Lakes, concrete pads, paved roads, pool, nice store, friendly staff, private sights, private beach and plenty of trails for hiking or bike riding. What more could you ask for. The only negative is better book way in advance.

Nice and clean park, sites are a little tight but we did get a 40' MH in without much trouble. WiFi is iffy, biting flies were terrible, site waa reasonably level. Super nice staff.

Great place to spend a few days. Tram to the beach is nice and runs about every 30 minutes. Most sites have shade but the nicest sites are in the newer section of the campground on the south end.

This is more like a state park than a resort. However has many amenities that you will not find at other Florida state parks such as a swimming pool, bungalow rentals, tram to the beach, full hook-up level RV sites. It about a half mile hike to the beach. Very clean and well maintained.

This is our favorite Fl state park. You get all the amenities and state park feel. Nice sites, beach access, great biking. A little pricey compared to other state parks but has FHU and cable. Well maintained. Book early.

About to begin our 4th stay at this Great park! What could be better than a nature preserve with trails, private Gulf beach , FHU campground (started as RV Resort - amenities include clubhouse, activities, pool, laundry house, tram to beach boardwalk), with a remote feel, but just off Hwys 30A & 98 access to restaurants, shopping, fueling and lots of other places? Bonus! All the sites are wooded, some with more tropical vegetation than others - any of the sites are great with our 31 5th wheel, most are quite long to accommodate bigger rigs - honestly there is not a bad site! The bathhouses are kept very clean, as is the park - very well maintained. The volunteers here are Great! The tent sites - awesome!! They include fire pits. RV sites do not, but campers can use an above ground firepit (we bought a $30 one at nearby WalMart). Renovations ongoing 2019 at the entry loop campsites, improving that area. Pool & store are currently closed due to construction. Looks like they are trying to be done by summer season 2019. Yes, it s a mi. to the beach from the campground, but it is sooo worth it! Walk, ride bicycles, or take the tram to the beach boardwalk. As you walk the meandering boardwalk, you can enjoy the dunes close up, where deer roam daily, and over the dunes - the awesome Beach with sugar white sands of Destin! There are several inland lakes, a bicycle/walk/hike -woodlands/dunes/lakes trail system. Canoe and kayak rentals. And loads of modern cabins (mini-FL beach houses) accommodations for the non-campers..

My wife and I camped here for three nights in our 22 foot travel trailer. It is a very nice and very well-maintained park. Actually too nice and too well maintained for us. We prefer rustic and spacious sites. This park is definitely not that. It is more of a converted RV resort as far as the camping area goes. The beach is fantastic, although you need to make sure you take Bicycles because it is a half mile ride to the beach area and you cannot take your car. There is a tram that runs to the beach, however it runs every hour so you need to plan accordingly. You also need to bring your own fire pit of sorts. No firing at the sites. Overall a nice park, but if you want rustic and privacy this is not the park for you. Because of that we will not be camping here again

Topsail has much to offer, from tram rides to their own beach to miles and miles of wooded walking trails. Depending on what section you book, you may be in an open site or a more secluded wooded site. Excellent facilities, good hook-ups, and great cable. Staff is helpful. There is much to explore all along this costal stretch of 30A. We will book here again on our way out of Florida.
