This is an awesome RV park to take the kids to. So much for them to do and have fun. But if you are looking for a peaceful place to sleep then move on. The trains go by every 15 minutes blowing horn and they are so close to most of the park they shake the RV and feel like an earthquake. We spent 3 weeks there and it was great place for our two grandsons to play but I never got much sleep. Earplugs won't help RV shaking.
Excellent sites, lots of amnemnties. Great staff, very nice resort, good wifi throughout resort.
This campground is easy access from the freeway and a good base for exploring the Mount Saint Helens area. They do have frequent trains but it's part of the fun..we look forward to returning.
Great family owned place! They have lots to do at the camp ground and on site. Many accommodations for guest. This would be a great place for big groups. Not over priced and very well kept. Would recommend this campground to anyone.
It's true what they say about the trains! No noise machine will cancel out the whistle and it does feel like an earthquake. I did not check out the facilities. We were here to see Mt. St. Helen's. As soon as we saw it, we pulled out! They need to cut the grass and not every sight has a fire pit. Sites are spacious and long pull through and level. It's OK for one night but I will try to find another place next time so we can sleep better. We were in a motorhome.
Nice Park with good size spots... But it is very noise with the trains going by every half hour and I-5 on the other side. Just to noise for us.
This is a very nice resort and after a long day of travel the train that goes buy every 45mins or so and honking it horn was very noisy and was very hard to sleep. Maybe it was just a busy day/night for the railway.
Have been staying in this park since it was new. Always loved it, trains and all, but over the past year, things have gone downhill. Earlier this year, the water was brown due to high iron content. Overall maintenance has declined and staff in the office is less than friendly. The location of the park is very convenient for us, so we were going to book a night, but they said an extra vehicle was $20 per night. That's absurd, especially when the park is mostly empty. I would not recommend this park.
