They are currently remodeling but from what I saw its going well and will be an awesome spot for short or long stays. I only stayed overnight in a tent. Its motorcycle friendly as well, half the people there had them.
Made rez 2wks before and since arriving after hours I called to confirm. She couldn't find rez and said spot I was told I'd be in was taken. She found another spot for my one week stay but if I hadn't called I'd be looking at after hours one night spots and then deal with it the next morning. Very noisy park next to interstate. Have to approach entrance from the westbound.
Park is clean and okay for a short stay. Very noisy as you are right next to Interstate. Staff seemed a bit confused as they put us in a spot where someone was already staying. Told us wifi would be working later in day but were never able to use. Suggested we go to Hardee's next door to use theirs?? We did and people there were very friendly and wifi did work. Of course we bought something which would not have been necessary if the park wifi was working. We were told wifi had not been working right for quite sometime by someone in park.
My wife & recently spent a couple nights at this park while we conducted some business in Sioux Falls. The park is right off the highway but is still tricky to get into if you drive a mid to large unit. Friendly staff. Seems a little pricy for what it is. Filled mostly with long term/permanent folks. Free WiFi almost non-existent. Water/septic ok. Cable kept blinking out about every two minutes. We would definitely check out other area parks before we went back here (other parks weren't open yet due to the time of the year).
I would have gave this place 5 stars if it wasn't right on an interstate highway. The place had lots of trees, the roads and sites were asphalt so there wasn't any dust like most others we have stayed at this trip. I didn't see any pull thru's, so they are all back in, there may have been one or two and I missed them, but 99% were back in, and your coach is backed right up to the coach behind you. There is a small yellow line on the pavement so you know where to stop. I was happy the couple different coach's that had that spot over the 4 days we were here didn't back into my coach. The bathrooms and laundry were very nice. I was amazed by the water pressure in the showers. Better than what I have at home. Time to find that pressure regulator at the house the dial it up. I've already clipped the low flow stuff. Anyway, the bathrooms appear to have recently be remodeled and a nice job was done using quality materials. I only had one suggestion to make the showers great, there were no soap shelves in any of the shower stalls. No place to put your shampoo, soap or razor other than the floor. Hopefully the owner reads this as that is a simple inexpensive fix to make them truly great. I was amazed by the noise the cicada make. It was almost deafening. My wife, who never heard them before thought there was a loud electrical problem in the area, i told here if that was an electrical noise we should be running away. :) I would stay there again, but probably ask for a site one of two streets west of the highway then. I am driving a 40'Diesel Pusher with a TOAD.
This sites are level, paved, and surrounded by trees. Facilities are clean. The park does stay busy and is often about 75% full. There are a number of full time guests. We have stayed at this campground twice once in 10/2016 and again 5/2017 and will definitely stay here again. It's not a fancy campground but defiantly isn't a dive.
Great place to stay while in Sioux Falls. Staff is very friendly and the park is convenient to shopping, dining and local attractions. Would recomend this park if you are in the area.
I'm okay with this stop. We are heading to the Badlands and needed a quick on quick off. Yes, you can hear traffic noise, but a one night stay or two nights, if you have things in the area you want to do, it's clean and friendly. We needed to do laundry and it was very clean.
Drove in there and drove right back out would not stay there on a bet just a dump went to the KOA where we stayed before and we will always stay at KOA in Sioux Falls
Sure like this park. Staff is great and goes out of there way to make sure you have a nice site. They have over 100 sites all full hookup with 30 & 50 amp. They also have Wifi and Cable included in the price. Will stay again when ever in the area. Would be a nice place for a longer stay.
A little difficult to get to you have to do a u turn or cut through a parking lot to get to it. It doesn't appear to be in the best part of town either. Lots of long term people staying here. Nice big sites, easy to pull through and you aren't right on top of the camper next to you. Very friendly staff.
Entering the park is a little tricky if you want to avoid a uturn. Clean restrooms and showers. Wifi was iffy but they are working on it. Friendly park. Next to interstate, but the trees buffer most of the noise. Convenient to sioux falls attractions, grocery store, movie theaters, sams club, walmart, and many chain and fast food restaurants.
It’s ok, for an overnight. Would not choose to stay for any length of time. WiFi was not working, at all
Outstanding accommodations, we stayed in the south part of the park, shower house and laundry were great. Shower house had great pressure and were some of the cleanest I've seen. Check on was easy after hours. They have your name on a sheet with the spot your in. Well worth the money. Plenty of shade at every site.
Owners are very friendly and washrooms are CLEAN! We got in late and only stayed the night as we were on our way to the Custer. Park was conveniently located and sites are easy in and out. Only reason we didn't rate a 5 is because of the air traffic for the nearby airport.
No pull through available sites. Remodeling. Call first:-(
On this date there were no pull thru sites as they are being renovated. There are back in sites with a spot for parking your dingy if necessary. Facility is well cared for. Equipment is in good repair.
We were greeted by the friendliest young lady who provided all the information we needed. The West campground is under construction, but the main campground was great.
Easy on/off from I-29! Stayed a week. Quiet. Friendly and welcoming. Nice clean showers and restrooms. Site was a backup directly in front of the one behind, but plenty of room for our tow vehicle. Sites level and concrete. The grounds are well-kept. They are in the process of adding more sites and looked like they'd be ready soon. Price is reasonable!
Biggest gripe is that two sites back up right to each other. Literally only 1-2 feet between the back of trailers. Cable system is kinda weird, you have to borrow a remote from the office to change channels. Bathrooms were clean.
Cleaners campground we have been to yet very nice and friendly
