We stayed at this place 2 days at the first part of June 2015. They said it was safe despite its bad location. We had space 26 right across from the office. Some time between 7:00 pm and 10:00 when we returned from dinner my $900.00 mountain bike was stolen. It was 3 point locked to a 200 pound picnic table. Someone used bolt cutters and took my bike. The next morning I told the girl in the office and she said, wow we haven't had trouble for 6 months. Not sorry or we'll look for you, nothing just that. I wouldn't stay around there if I ran out of fuel.
Could not give 5 stars because sites are close to one another, but you have plenty of room for slideouts. We stayed 3 nights, 8/17/17 thru 8/19/17, and visited all the sights from fisherman's wharf in San Francisco. Take my advise catch the ferry in Vallejo, $6.00 parking for all day, and $9.40 for round trip. A 1 hour ride on the ferry is much better than dealing with the awful drivers in and around the city of San Francisco plus the $5.00 tolls to cross the bay bridges. Napa Valley is only 19 miles away. Convent location at a good price.
This place has seen better days. More a dilapidated parking lot than an RV park. The surrounding area feels unsafe. Possibly because the park has barbed wire around the back and padlocked the back entrance. The showers are moldy with little hot water. A lot of long term people stay here while their rigs fall in disrepair. One has to drive anywhere to get to something of interest.
