everything worn out, unlevel rv spots, dead trees, little or no guide to rv park. should be a change in concessionier.

No showers but easy access to the trails

| Plenty good

This park is plenty adequate. Hookups worked fine, not too densely packed. No shower is the only drawback but they are available up the road a little ways (0.4 miles) at Mather Campground. Plenty of trails and a little village is within walking distance. Use the shuttle to get to observation points/scenic routes. Grand Canyon is magnificent. No pictures truly capture its scale, and no observation point is the same. Plenty of wildlife. Elk are everywhere, even in your camp at times.

| Much improved

The sites have been repaved and upgraded recently making the RVing experience much better. Considering the location, the price seems reasonable. We will stay there again.

| Great Experience

This park is within the Grand Canyon National Park...it doesn't get better than that! It is within walking distance to a grocery store and cafe (free wi-fi). It is within biking distance from the Village, where you can hike Bright Angel Trail and explore the gift shops. The grounds are very clean and quiet. We paid $38 per night.

| Few 50 amp and septic sites.

By user-5839855... on 2017-10-23.

Be advised that the ground is uneven, hard to level. The septic dump hole is small so take care when dumping....

| OK park

Everything worked. Good hookups. Grill next to the RV. Site number and last name gives you access to all wifi spots in the lodges. Showed up without reservation, no problems.

| Good Value

Full hookups at this popular of a place was a great value. TV service worked fine for us, would have liked wifi. Free shuttle service to view the Canyon, friendly staff. Park was kept clean, didn't use restrooms, so no comment. For sure would return, had to be patient to get reservations, as it stays full. Close parking, but not to bad.

Wonderful park.

The cable does not work. They tried to tell us it was our tv, but the TV was only two weeks old we put a new one in our camper for our trip.

| Close to park and shuttle

Ok park, sites unleveled. Nothing fancy but close to shuttle to park and and restaurants and stores. Alittle pricey at $45. Dumping extra.

Great location! Close to store and Rim. Nice easy walk or bike ride on a paved trail to the rim. Definitely a great place to stay while visiting the park!

Full hook ups but wi-fi was non-existent. Clean campground and close to trails and Angel Bright look outs. We were able to setup in the early evening in time for sunset and also view the Canyon early in the morning with a delicious breakfast at El Tovar Lodge.

| Great park close to the South Rim

Asphalt sites with full hookups. They are not level, most likely for drainage purposes. Grassy areas to walk the dogs. Clean public bathrooms according to my mother in law. Bus shuttle is at the entrance to the park, which is a convenient way to see the rim. There's a General Store outside the RV park that is very big and has a lot of souvenirs. The only negative is when you go to hitch up(5th wheel) it's a little difficult to line up with the sites not being level. After a few tries we were good to go. I would say be patient. Great little park. We were there at the end of March. Got down to mid 20's at night.

| If you have an RV and want the benefits of being in the park...

Bathrooms were old but decent, water and hookups worked and sites are thoughtfully laid out. Long walk (or drive) to the Mather campground area for laundry and $2 pay showers that were clean with nice hot water. Free park bus shuttles are a great way to get around and see the sights without needing to drive your vehicle.

| Great sites, but...

By user-5577666... on 2017-10-23. Stayed 2016-10-31 to 2016-11-01

Loved the sites and it really was a pretty park. Two minor problems made the rating lower. The first is the price, $44 plus a $2.60 fee made this park slightly expensive and they have no discount rate for Good Sam or others. Second, if you have a rig around 40 ft. long watch the curbs and the trees. Seems that the sites were planned for rigs under 35 ft. which is typical for Forest Service campgrounds. Everything was clean and orderly but would probably pick a different park because of the length problem.

This RV park only has two drawbacks, no wifi and the showers and bathrooms rustic. On the plus side about two blocks away there is a trading post and restaurant. At the lodge, there is a program on Navajo weaving that is very informative. When we were coming in to our site I saw a white tailed squirrel and I spent some time looking for it again.

Site we were in was very uneven for our 40 ft Motor home. We were assured it would fit fine. It left our RV at such an uneven level that our power steps bent and the RV torqued causing our big windshield to pop loose at the lower Left corner. Cost us $600.00 so far to fix the windshield and we will deal with the steps (which we had just paid to have a new motor in ) later. We noticed several other travel trailers and Class C's come in after that using lots of blocks and jack adjustments to level out. The part of the RV lot we stayed in was NOT suitable for a 40 ft motor home! Be careful! Wish we would have read more on this site before staying there. Never again

decent park, our site was spacious and level, well worth being so close to everything, short walk to shuttle! close to trails, lookouts, everything! would definitely stay here again!

| Great place to stay while visiting the Grand Cany

By user-6649832... on 2019-08-09. Stayed 2019-05-28 to 2019-05-30

Located inside the park. Nice wide spots. Easy walk to the shuttle for the park if you don t want to take a car. Easy short drive to the rim. Bathrooms and showers are a bit of a walk but we are self contained and didn t need to use them. Elk came through the park daily. Grocery store within walking distance. Sites are gravel/dirt and fairly level. Grass area between sites. We camped in a 34 motor coach. Would definitely stay here again.
