Currently the majority of the people here are year-round residents. But in the near future they are going to add many more camping sites. Washington, NC is an interesting place. Small town, but with much to offer. The town is less than 3 miles away and you can even travel there by boat. We weren't there long, but we are going again to stay there a couple more days when we travel to and from Myrtle Beach. Beware of golf carts, they travel at 7-1/2 mph here.
Nice clean facility, more of a trailer park than CG, but they were nice and we had a quiet stay for the one nite. Be aware of the GPS directions, tried to take us down a dirt road, it is right on the highway.
218 sites maybe 40 open, the rest are permanent sites. Of course the best sites are taken. The rest are in an open field. Very little shade.They are level site and easy hook ups. The bathrooms are very clean.
