I fell in love with this campground immediately upon arriving. Jason (my name sake) and Rebecca made me feel at home immediately. Great people. I recommend site 32! It's great!
This is not your typical KOA. Lots of room between camp sites and lots of trees. This campground is set among lots of mature trees with plenty of shade. The restroom and pool facilities were in excellent shape and were always clean. Our campground hosts (owners) were always visible and very friendly. There is lots to do in the area and we took a white water trip on the Lower Greene River out of the town of Saluda. There is one thing you need to know regarding getting to this campground. Route 25 is a divided highway and there is no cut across the road to this campground. When arriving from the North. your GPS is going to tell you to pass the campground and make a u-turn. This puts fear into most RVers as it did me. About 1/4 mile or less past the campground there is a roadside store with a gravel parking lot that I used to turn around. It turned out to be a non event and I saw several others using this area to turn their 40 footers around as well. I highly recommend this campground.
We love this KOA, we call it ahh-mazing. Very peacefull with large shady sites. Good wifi, 40+ cable tv stations, super clean. The owners are always available and are continuously tending to the campground and facilities. Excellent place to unwind and relax. One of our favorite destinations!
Owners were wonderful and friendly. Great quiet place to relax. They have a quaint play area for the kiddos, which my toddler loved. Site 32 was right next to the play area, so it felt like we had a big yard. Our site also had a fire pit which was neat. Facilities were clean and well kept. They only have 2 washers and 2 dryers, which sucked for my 6 loads of laundry! Thank goodness it is open 24hrs. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area
Exceeded my expectations... wonderful owners.... friendly staff... beautiful setting... spacious sites... great cable... only downfall is cell reception
We stayed this past weekend and found this CG to be very clean and very friendly. Our camper is a 38ft 5th wheel and we had more than enough room for both. Cable and wi-fi worked excellent. It also has a small stream running behind the back-up sites. You won’t meet a nicer guy than Jason
Agree with all the other reviews. Jason is great. Office staff were very friendly. The sites are all immaculate. Concrete pads for picnic table. In ground water, so no leaky puddles. Electric boxes look brand new. Not a tree limb or spider web to be seen anywhere. This is by far the nicest KOA we've ever stayed at.
Went here about 5 years ago, nice place, clean and shaded. A small koa and real laid back, nice place to rest. Pool is small but we didn t come here for that.
