Stayed here this past weekend. When I made reservations, I asked for 50 amp full hook up. So when we arrived, I was told there was no 50 amp and then was surprised to find out that there wasn’t any cable. I told the lady at the desk that I was expecting 50 amp and she wasn’t willing to help make it right. I mentioned switching sites, and she said she wasn’t sure if the sites were available. What? How can you not know what’s available?! Also, if you are a person that likes peace and quiet at your campground, I wouldn’t recommend this place. It is right next to I-91 and all we heard was traffic booming down the highway. On the brighter side, the woman at the desk can’t figure money...we got a three night stay for $37. Our site (#6) was fairly large though. The campground itself was nicely groomed.

We stayed at Travelers this weekend and just loved it. This place is very nice, very clean, quiet and the staff were very friendly. Plus you can t beat the price. We already made reservations for two weekends next year. This will be our official go to place for relaxation!!!

We stopped by for an overnight stay and have to say we really like this place. The folks running this campground are very friendly and even invited us down to their "thank you" dinner for their seasonal campers. Just a note of caution for the underpass on River St. It's low at about 11' 11" or something close to that. Our 34' travel trailer was a snug fit. We found out from another camper that the better way is to come in from Cross Rd just north of the I-90 overpass. No low bridges that route! Definitely recommend a stay here though. Marking it as a favorite.
