Located on the bay, and a mile away from the Atlantic ocean. Great area for beach, surf fishing, crabbing, clamming, boating, fresh or salt water fishing, (they have a catch and release fresh water lake on premise) kite boarding, jet skiing, power sailing, surfing, skim boarding... You get the picture, if it's water sports you like Treasure Beach in Fenwick Island is the place to go. Close to the resort area attractions such as Assateague Island, Bethany Beach and Ocean City's famous boardwalk.
Treasure beach review Spot 450 Pros -Waterfront locations are super spacious -silent and peaceful -24 hour security seen constantly roaming the grounds -office open 24 hours -only minutes away from the beach, ocean city, attractions, Bethany beach, Dewey beach, Assateague, etc... -jet ski and boat rentals right around the corner -good eats right outside of the grounds -employees don't nag you while on the grounds -pet friendly, didn't have to have my dog leached - amenities include: pool, skate park, bath houses, laundry facility, volleyball. -grounds are clean. Lots of seasonals but I wouldn't call it a trailer park by a long shot. -many inlets for docking boats -there is a trail, but I didn't pay it too much attention to rate it. -close to grocery store and hardware store -not a lot of Mosquitos. (Could have to do with time of year) -staff respond quickly to any issues. Cons -a SCHEDULED water main repair: the water was shut off for a water main repair without warning to any of the short stays. (This was a scheduled repair). -known to flood. However, if there's availability else where you'll be accommodated elsewhere. -employees tend to cater to the seasonals. But overall aren't rude. -no wifi -no cable in certain locations. Not even with the cable box they provide. To summarize our stay at Treasure Beach we absolutely loved it. We'd stay here over and over again.
This park was amazing! Stayed for a week during Independence Day holiday week. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The facilities were all clean and convenient. They had tons of activities for kids. They have a fishing pond and a small pier on the bay where you can go crabbing. The store is well stocked. The spots were large and not at all crowded. They provide an amazing experience and I can t say enough good things about Treasure Beach.
Perfectly located between Ocean City attractions and Fenwick Island (DE) tax free shopping. First night (Friday) was a little rough. There were so many unsupervised kids at the playground area. However, by Sunday most cleared out. Sunday and Monday were perfectly quiet. We will stay here again, but will request a site furthest away from the playground. We like queit LoL. Good campground with plenty to do.
