Nice campground . Friendly staff. Escort to site. Roomy sites. Grass and trees.
Helpful and friendly staff. Clean bathrooms. Level sites. Good store. Good breakfast and dinner in their small cafe--will deliver to your campsite. Could use more trees and green grass but hey, it's arid New Mexico.
Welcoming pets and people, Tucumcari KOA calls itself "the friendliest stop on I-40." With easy freeway access, there's plenty of room for large and small RVs, plus grass for tenters. This KOA offers beautiful views of Tucumcari Mountain, plateaus, mesas and pastures. The quiet country atmosphere is a bird-lover's paradise. Fish at nearby Ute Lake or cruise down Historic Route 66 to see neon signs and one of the largest murals dedicated to Route 66 in the U.S. Visit a world-class dinosaur museum and new historic train museum. Shop for souvenirs/memorabilia in KOA's gift shop. Relax in the refreshing pool or hot tub while swings and teeter-totters entertain kids. This KOA welcomes groups of all sizes and offers food service delivery to your site - or dine in (call for seasonal hours).
