We made our reservation over the phone and the gal on the phone was professional and courteous. We arrived after-hours and found our instructions at the office window. Although there were quite a few vacancies, our site lacked fire pit / BBQ. The water in pool was cold, and overall felt the park lacked KOA appeal.
When making my reservation over the phone I was given the impression that this particular location was much quieter then others in the area. That is the furthest from the truth as it is right on the main highway and I have had better rest and more peaceful sleep in a rest area! They take a deposit over the phone that is nonrefundable and once you check in if you decide to leave early, any additional days that you left early for our non-refundable. That is for a very good reason. If it was refundable they would lose a great amount of income!!! In my personal opinion not even a decent place to stop off for one night much less seven if you're in town doing business and need some decent rest.
Stayed during the eclipse. Prices hike during this time. Disappointed in that. Staff very friendly and accommodating. They opened the office at 3 am to accommodate folks leaving for eclipse viewing. Men/women bathrooms. Girl cleaned them 3 times a day which was awesome. Lots of family entertainment. Grassy spots. I would recommend staying at this KOA.
On the way or stay, we are your ideal KOA. Close to the interstate but a world away, it is perfect for an easy in/easy out overnight or an extended stay to enjoy the natural beauty and attractions of Southern Idaho's Magic Valley. We offer a heated swimming pool, clean restrooms/showers, kids and pets playground, and our ""own style of room service"" by the KOA cafe. You're in, you relax and recharge, you're out and on your way to Yellowstone Park or other exciting destination. Experience Southern Idahos Magic Valley as you walk on the new cantilevered overlook by the Perrine Bridge. Watch daredevil BASE jumpers, see Evel Knievels jump site or cool down at Shoshone Indian Ice Caves. Back at KOA, enjoy a refreshing swim after a day of sightseeing or stop by the ice cream social. The store is stocked with groceries, beer, wine, RV supplies and souvenirs. Tired from a long days drive and dont feel like cooking or unhooking? Take advantage of the campgrounds KOA Café, open for breakfast and dinner from June through August. Dinner service: Eat in or have your meal delivered to your site, and enjoy this campgrounds own style of room service. Whether you want to relax at your campsite, explore the area, join in activities or sit by the pool, the Twin Falls/Jerome KOA has it all. The staff looks forward to your visit!
