We had sworn off KOA's but since we needed to stay at a park for the month with our little 5 yr old, this park looked fun from the pictures. I am so glad we did because we ended up having a great time. The staff was so friendly and really tried hard to get the kids involved with activities and games. There were small carnival rides and it even had a restaurant on site. I have nothing nice to say about the bartenders though. The pool was so cool with slides and a water mushroom. The bathrooms were always clean and laundry was a little far away, but also clean. It was a reasonable monthly rate, so good that we stayed a few days extra. I highly recommend this and wish we could have stayed longer.
Highly recommend this park if you have children. Fun activities, nice pool and a great staff. We stayed for Labor Day weekend and everyone had a great time. We always use this place to camp.
This is a gorgeous place in rural PA. Signs are tiny, if at all, to direct you here. Look for small blue signs to find your way. Their check in hours vary day to day but after hours check in was easy, once we read the sign. There is a gate to get through but the upper key pad for RV didn't work. We had to get out and punch in code on the lower box. Internet is great, views are gorgeous, sites are wide, and easy to maneuver. If you like smoked meats, then try their restaurant! The best smoked turkey sandwich we have ever had! We will definitely be back!
Our family lives in Pine Grove, so we chose this campground to visit with family. Best choice! We stayed in cabin A78 for 5 nights, pet friendly. The cabins are gorgeous! Our cabin site was fantastic...very private. Lots of room! Loved the arts and crafts ( needs handicap accessibility since it's up stairs) , ice cream shop, carousel is beautiful, ferris wheel was fun, mini golf and the pool was the highlight. We really enjoyed the Bark Park for our dog as well. * just a suggestion... would be really cool to have shade in the Bark Park or maybe a doggie splash pad ( just an idea) A couple of suggestions, NOT complaints, cause we LOVE this place and plan on coming EVERY summer. 1) Bring a mop. The cabin floors were a bit dirty upon arrival, but probably hard to keep clean with the rocks outside. Wish we brought a mop. OUR CABIN WAS SUPER CLEAN THOUGH. 2) a/c or fan needed in the bunk room, so bring a window fan. 3) Arcarde needs games fixed.. but our kids really enjoyed it still. The man working there was extremely nice. 4) For the couple of rides they have, they really should have 1 person at each ride. We waited at least 15 min to get on each one. The poor guy was working 2 to 3 rides and running back and forth. He was sooo patient and kind and kept telling us" I'll be right there " so nice of him. He really cared that we were waiting. 5) Wish the closets had shelves. Lastly, the Restaurant there was wonderful. Very friendly staff. Great prices and big portions. Yummy food. All homemade and they have a smoker outside.** just wish they had scrapple! :) WE will be coming back. Very impressed. Best relaxing, fun vacation EVER!
This is a great park..the staff is somewhat "ok" ..do not stay in the C section ..full sun all day , cars , incoming campers , golf carts , ect. Go flying by tons of dust (did I mention no shade?) And one stinky skunk that comes out after you have gone to bed...

In the middle of nowhere but nice park. Good camp store, bar, restaurant, pool, activities, carousel, ice cream, movie house, crafts, sites, and bathhouses. Pull through sites make things nice. Had a great stay. Only improvement I see is heat the pool, was always COLD!
Went there last year around the end of June. The only thing we didn't like was no shade in the section we were in (thats why only 3 stars) Other than that great place with plenty of entertainment.
Had a great time with kids! Will return, appalachian trail right up the road :) nice location in state forest.
Lots of activities very clean nice sites an big great for big rv/5th wheels. Pool was awesome kids had a blast.
We stayed here last minute, plenty of space between sites. The staff was very helpful. It is about 7 miles from I-81 so there was no highway noise. The comments about no shade are correct, but in April we do not want shade. The park is clean with good satellite reception. We would stay her again!
Very nice park, clean bathrooms, mid week stay no problem getting a site. Will stay again when in the area. Pool and restaurant not open yet..
My 57-year-old husband passed away unexpectedly the morning we were to leave for a family reunion at this campground. They refused to reimburse me for our cabin rental.

Hi there! We booked a night at this place because it was a convenient stop on our trip to somewhere else. Wow! From beginning to end, what a nice stay. A LOT of RV parks we've stayed at have added RESORT to their park name. This place actually deserves to be called a resort! We're already booked here for our trip back home. Thanks!!
Fair price. Clean . Busy weekend, so it was nosey. A section is close to road, so we could hear traffic. Restaurant not much for vegetarian, and pricey.
We are victims of hurricane Florence from New Bern NC. Because of storm, we had to cancel only four days before reservation. Would not give us a refund. Will never book there again.
We would rate this a 4+ really! We have found it difficult to find a really nice campground in this area as we travel through. This one offers lots of extras for vacationers. It offers overnighters leveled, graveled sites with easy access. We will be returning customers!
