Very friendly park, set in a rural quiet area, yet easily accessible to everything. Less than two hours to OBX
Camp ground is quiet. People are very freindly. Only bad thing is we were there during a very rainy week. The grounds were saturated with puddles everywhere. This is bad since the sites are small with not much room to maneuver. Also had power outages during hard rains. I was pleased overall with the location and facilities.
Pros: Friendly staff. Cons: Reason for some poor review...All good sits were taken by full timers. RV site sewer connection was broken and had a plastic bag in it, which made it impossible to seal and prevent odor. Site barely accommodated my MH. i.e., After putting out our rug and chairs, we were literally inches from the next site sewer line and could touch their RV. Ants were all over the pool area table and chairs, as someone left their soda drinks and staff never cleaned then up, which resulted in a major ant issue...We left early with pursuing a refund. Most likely will not return.
