Stayed 7-18-2017 in our 40 ft motorhome towing a full sized pickup. Was stunned upon starting down the 1.8 miles to discover the road turned to gravel, the incline became steep, road narrows to less than 2 lanes AND you have to navigate 4 VERY sharp switchbacks. It's more like what I'd call a logging road. We made it down, but for this passenger it was a hyperventilating, frightening ride. The campground itself is lovely, situated on the Confluence of the Moyie and Kootenai Rivers. Sites are fairly level, interspersed among evergreens and shade trees. Bath house and laundry room are good. The Wi-Fi is weak, so you need to be close to the office for access. Little to no cell signal.
Great place to get away from it all Road is not that bad, just take your time. Friendly staff, quiet and peaceful stay. Highly recommed
