Nice park, friendly staff. Older park awaiting upgrades. NO cell service, Wifi, or other tech amenities. Good beach, canoe and kayak rentals. Saturday boat tour a good value. Many families we met have been coming back for years. Sunsets were amazing. Weekends were less busy than during week.
The 30A water and electric sites are fairly rare for a state run campground. If you're looking to get away for some peace and quiet, this is the place. Your cell phone will not ring because there is no service for about a 30 minute drive in any direction. At night the loons will cry on the lake, which the DW absolutely loves. Friendly campground staff and a huge lake for boating/fishing make this a perfect little hideaway.
