Well maintained Park. Bathrooms fairly clean. WiFi if you are close to 1 of the antennas. 14 buck a night. Can self pay or pay with credit card during day. Only down side is that lots of thorns make dog walking a challenge.

| Ok Campground

Cheap prices for a decent stay. Bathrooms were a bit outdated and no soap - but were clean. Lots of mosquitos and burrs at our campsite.

| Love the numerous large flat pull through sites!

Lots of great sites with a wonderful view of the Lake and beautiful sunsets!

| Nice quiet level pull throughs!

Great state park! Wide space easy to park and very flat. No trees to dodge. Windy mesa with a few stickers. Easy walk to the lake. Very weak WiFi. Nice folks that like to go boating and fishing.

Worth the drive north of I-40, friendly staff (thanks Manny!), separate sections for tents and back ins, we stayed in the Yucca section, all long gravel level pull thrus (we are 53 total and had lots of room to spare) each with a picnic table under a little roof, fire ring and some have nice row of pines in between for privacy.

| Great place Best camper hosts

Stayed two weeks. Lake right in front of us. Manny. is best camper host ever. Pull through sites 150 feet long. Plenty of room.

Largest pullthru sites, most campgrounds would double the available sites by cutting the pullthrus in the Yucca loop in half but thankfully this state park didn't. The number of first come first served sites that are in Yucca loop is more than adequate to serve the needs of a week day arrival most months of the year. Bathrooms with pushbutton showers or clean.

| Nice state park

Stayed at Yucca site 11 overlooking lake. Sites are nicely spaced with some reservable. Fire pit, grill and 2 walled ramadas. Verizon tough to receive with less than 500kb/s on speedtest. Tmobile and att 20 Mb/s. Appears popular with locals. Another great NM state park. Dump site at park entrance.

This was a nice little state park. Although it was a little confusing when you 1st get there to figure out which direction to go to the campground once you find that out they are nice very large spots. Multiple bathrooms. Nice view of the night sky as well as the Lake. We were traveling with 2 adults, 4 kids and 5 great Danes. Would deff stay here again.

Our reserved spot was taken when we arrived and the camp host was MIA. Fortunately there were other open sites so it wasn't a big deal.
