Reviews for Valley of the Sun RV Park

| Nice Spot

The place is a little run down, asphalt pads are crumbling and the electric is 30amp only. But the laundry is great with big washers and dryers. The hotel has a bar and the pool is nice. And you can access the ice machines for your use. Good location and the price is right in line with everyone else in phx that's not 55 or older restricted. I enjoy this place for a few days at least once a month.

| OK for a few nights

Very nice check-in at the Days Inn lobby. The receptionist was great - very nice and accommodating. Campground sites were very clean, but blacktop is aging a bit on the pads. The rest rooms and showers is in need of a update. They don't have electric outlets for curling irons or shavers even. The wifi is from the hotel and the signal is very weak.

Found this one after a bit of a search, there were two big conventions in town and most parks were full. This is a quiet, tidy RV park, check in at the hotel, park is directly behind. Check in at the hotel front desk, very nice staff. Gravel and pavement, pavement is in poor repair and a bit bumpy but the grounds are clean and tidy with a few common areas of grass. WiFi doesn t reach back to the RV section but you can use it in the hotel and they have a business room you can use (I didn t see it). Showers and bathrooms are dated and could use an update but are serviceable and the water was hot and plentiful - jump out of the way if you hear the toilet flush! Has an on site laundry that is also dated but serviceable. Far enough away from the freeway to avoid the highway noise but close enough to be convenient. They do not take reservations so if they have room (and they claim they almost always do) then you can stay on a day to day basis without being booted because they space has been reserved. That was nice for us as we didn t know how long we wanted to be here. We did call two hours ahead to check availability and they had 5 spaces and assured us there would be a space, but when we got there, but there was only one left. We would stay here again.

| Ok it needs some love

It does indeed need some love but at 16$ a day no service but access to showers, I guess this an ok price. 36$ is for full service. The good side is that they are friendly in welcoming you.
