Great campsite. Wonderful views of the Lake and easy access to restroom & shower facilities at most sites. Clean and well-kept.
First time at this COE park on Lake Lanier. First weekend of opening season. We pull a 19ft Jayco trailer and glad we had nothing larger as this park is definitely geared to tent campers. The one-way roads are very narrow and it was very difficult backing into our site. We just made it with very little room to spare. I would not camp here again in a trailer. The positive was the restrooms was neat and clean. The hosts Nancy and Jim Hughes, were nice as can be. Check in and check out were very easy. Not happy that the park closed at 3pm on Sunday as we had made plans to go to our grandsons baseball tournament but had to cancel our plans AND MOVE 5 MINUTES UP THE ROAD TO OLD FEDERAL COE PARK. Improvements to park would be key combinations at the gate like the Georgia State Parks and electric hand dryers in the bathrooms. Weak Verizon signal. 1 bar. I would consider this mountain camping.
