This park is serviceable but not a "destination" unless you are there for the Sweet Onion Festival. The sites are level, large and the full hookups easy to use. The electric is 50 amp so make sure you have a pigtail if your rig is only 30 amp. There is a dumpster. It is set amongst pine trees with just enough sun. This park is at a busy intersection because it is right behind the technical school campus and on the road to the airport. They must give lessons at the airport because all 7 days during daylight hours I heard small engine planes. It is right across the street from the Animal Control facility so there is constant and collective barking. I love dogs but this kind of barking is annoying and it kept my dogs uneasy and on guard the entire time. I may have also heard coyotes on 2 different nights.

Unlike another review, i found this 12 site campground charming. I prefer more out of the way, less hustle and bustle. This is a city owned campground, self pay and self check in. Easy hookups (50 amp), large level pull through spaces. I walked my dogs around the campground and there is a nice park/trail just across the way. The animal control is across the street and back in the trees. Inside the rv and most hours of the day, I heard nothing. My dogs would have been alert if they heard things. In the early morning, while walking my dogs, i did hear the animal control dogs, likely excited about being let outside and having breakfast! It was not a nuisance and subsided quickly. If you want a place to relax and breathe, this park has grills and picnic table, and plenty of lovely Georgia pines. I was only there one night, but would live to go back.
