We love the lake even though "it's 10 degrees cooler at the lake". Easy access to shopping and restaurants. Stayed here for the summer.
Below reviews are correct, read them also. + the park wifi could actually stream our smart TV! + breezes off lake cool and beautiful (Aug) + lakeshore dining just north at the Lighthouse Inn!!! Amazingly good!!
Stay there was great pool was warm and the staff was so friendly. Sites were nice and so close to everything. I would stay there again.
This is a great spot to stop. Not all the sites are the same however, so ask for a larger one. The pull through spots along the water are the tightest, better to be on a corner. Nice pool and hot tub, Laundry is only a dollar! Bike path goes right by park, with lots to see very close
Beautiful views of Lake Michigan , but the sites are so tiny we couldn't even extend our awning without hitting the RV next to us. Same thing on the other side - when the neighbor put his awning down it hit our RV. The size of the sites would be ok if you are tenting it. Will not return.
Visited here during the last week of June 2018, with a 42 fifth wheel, and was in Site 6 (50/30/20amp w/FHU). This site is actually a back-in site but was told we could pull-thru it. The park consists of 24 sites, 11 pull-thru and 13 back-in, all FHU, packed gravel pads with grass between sites, hardtop and gravel interior roads and each site includes a picnic table and fire ring. The park is clean and fairly well maintained. The park offers the use of the hotels indoor pool, community picnic area, and laundry facilities and you may play miniature golf for a small fee. The office personnel were very friendly upon check-in, as well as anytime we went into the office. AT&T cellular service was acceptable as was OTA television reception. The park is located in a decent neighborhood, little to no road noise for the most part and right across the road is a great bike/walking trail and beautiful Lake Michigan. The cool breeze coming off the lake this time of the year was so refreshing during the late June warm temperatures. We will be staying here again when back in the area.
