Even though the map makes this lovely campground appear way far from everything in Door County, we had no trouble getting quickly to all the attractions of door co, but still felt like we were out in the quiet woods. Nice facilities, friendly staff, beautiful sites. Biking, hiking, swimming all available in nearby state parks. Fun place to stay, but as a two day or more destination, not just overnight.
This CG is absolutely beautiful and the facility is very well maintained. The shower and bathrooms are extremely clean. Staff is beyond welcoming, making our first stay in Door County a trip to remember forever. We stayed here in a 36' motorhome. We will return and highly recommend Wagon Trail CG.
Words can not do this resort justice, it is so gorgeous, and the staff is beyond amazing. Sites are beautiful and secluded, the grounds are amazing, I don't know how they keep it up!! I should not even be writing this review because it's such a special spot. The only downside is that it will ruin you for all other campgrounds. There is no wifi, but Kathy in the office has a great library of DVDs that's you can borrow. They even have an adorable library/den which does have wifi along with books to borrow, so warm and sweet exactly what you imagine of a deep woods cottage. Wagon trail will be one of our yearly spots we go to each summer!!
We've been in many campgrounds in many states but we've never been to a campground where the bathrooms are so clean and well maintained. They clean them in the morning and afternoon. The camp sites are very secluded and the office staff is very friendly and accommodating. It is unfortunate that other campgrounds do not have these standards.
Nice place. Large clean facilities and wifi available at the main building. There are hiking trails on the land around the campground. FYI-Some areas of the campground don't have any grass at all (pea gravel/large gravel) which is hard on our elderly dog-request a site with grass nearby.
Beautiful camp site! Level and private with wood screens on three sides. Amazing friendly staff that go the extra mile!
This campground has the nicest, cleanest showers we've been to. Every spot is a winner, and staff is the nicest we've had the pleasure to deal with. Fully wooded spaces, and convenient amenities. Best camp store. Truly laid back, relaxing, and the best we've been to. Can't wait to return next season.
