For the price, this Missouri State Park located just off of Avenue of the Saints is a Gem! Level pull through campsites, friendly staff, a few too many geese, with toilet and shower facilities that are older but serviceable (but not heated). We paid $23 which we thought was a bargain! Lots of walking trails, several lakes. The area is an old sand and rock mining site used to make the area roads, and there is a marker quite high on a tree showing high water in 2009...so I am guessing that it may be prone to flooding. That being said, it was high and dry this day and we expect to stay there anytime we are passing through the area.
Lot of place, not expenssive, clean. Cool lake but care mousquito.
Awesome state park! See more improvements every year. Full hook ups are limited and not shaded, but huge concrete pads.
$23 is a fair rate for this level facility!
