Campsites well maintained, had activities (video, kids crafts & bingo) at ametheatre, quite, clean bathrooms & showers. Great place for kids & adults! Only downside was wish the sites had water.

We just stopped in here from going from one place to another, and we're quite pleased with the park. Widely spaced sites, some of them pretty level. We found one on the outside of the loop looking over the woods, perfect place for glass of wine.

Wonderful stay with nature

Stayed 2018-09-21 to 2018-09-23
While planning our trip, we decided to stop for a couple of nights at Wallace State Park for a change of pace. This is a gem. Campground 4 has electricity and a water tap to fill your fresh water tank. The weather was perfect and there is a network of trails through the trees for nature walks by yourself or with your dog. We saw deer and lots of other critters. There is a lake on the property for fishing as well We loved it.

Nice State Park!

Best bathroom/showerhouse ever in a state park! We've been to many SP in many states, and this should be the guide to follow. Plus, the park is pretty!!

Lovely state park encompassing Lake Allaman. Access in the park is twisty and hilly. Some sites are asphalt, some gravel. Pull throughs are nice for the bigger rigs, plenty of shade
$23 for 30A electric only, $8.50 for a reservation fee

Great state park camping
By user-unknown on 2019-08-09.
You would be hard-pressed to find a better state campground than this one. Go swimming in the lake or take a hike on their many trails. Check-in was very easy and very pleasant. The camp host checked me in with no problem and was helpful with a water pump issue that I had. I was fortunate to have a pull through site. We stayed for one night passing through to Texas. We would definitely stay here again.
