Nicest KOA we have ever been too! Beautiful hill side layout. $40 Rate full hookups 30amp. We were in a 40' bus.
Nice KOA in a pretty area. We were in one of the spots on the top of the hill. It's a little scary to drive a big rig up that hill... but it all worked out. The sites were large and had all the amenities. The WiFi was very good and the cable TV was good. The park allow fires and it seemed that everyone decided to have one during our stay. We could never leave the windows open because of the smoke. My only real negative was the price. I know KOAs are more expensive... but would stay in them more often if more reasonably priced.
This park is on the side of a mountain with pretty views. There are level sites and the VPK sites, one of which we had, was outfitted with a swing, table, grill and lights. It's quiet but has a catch and release lake and play area for the kiddies. The natives are friendly and welcoming. You can do Monticello from here, which we did. Great visit. So history buffs will enjoy it. We camped here in a 41 foot motor home.I would stay here again.
