Nice park, but noise from higway. Clean showers and restrooms.

| Nice but very expensive

Nice site, but way too expensive: had to pay 39$ for one night primitive tent site (no water, no electricity). It's 22$ (primitive tent site) + 8$ reservation fee + 9$ park entrance...

Beautiful park! The dunes are amazing and really fun to explore. We stayed in the fall when the leaves were turning and it was georgeous. The beach was fun to walk on but it was definitely too cold for a swim. Site was spacious and electric hook ups were good. Nice fire ring and picnic table. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Nice play set for the kids too.

Very expensive. Sites mostly dirt/no pad, tons of poison ivy. Definitely a local hang out. Most sites PACKED and overflowing with camper/tents/cars. Nice showers and bathrooms, but they were dirty and smelly. We booked after reading other reviews and thought it would be a good layover, but were disappointed and happy it was only one night.

This is a great tent and small camper site. It is not big rig compatible! Low hanging branches on roads and most sites. Need to be aware that a Michigan state parks passport is required. $33 annually plus $7 to toad.
