Reviews for Warrior's Path State Park

| Nice sites, bathrooms need work

We stayed Mother's Day weekend in site 36. The restrooms across the road from us were in need of cleaning and some minor plumbing repair. The only showers are in the main bath house a quarter mile up the path. Once again, in need of a good cleaning and some minor plumbing repair. For RV campers, pay attention to site descriptions on website. They vary greatly in size. But all seem to be fairly level and equally equipped.

| Lake park on a ridge

Campsites are all up on the ridge above the lake, sites bunched together (the old standard set-up that lake-goers liked before so many big rigs). Campground road 1 lane & narrow. We stayed overnight in #20 inside site, wide but difficult to maneuver 37' 5th wheel into, barely leaving enough room to get truck off the narrow road, which has no shoulder & drops off. 40' site means 40' total driveway length. Outside sites on that 1st part of the loop are narrow and some parallel & right on the rd. Guy across from us could barely get his small camper and vehicle off the road. But bonus - 50 amp service. We decided to not detach camper from truck once we got it leveled (had to use board under one tire). We hiked the well-used trail down to the lake and back up around the other side of the campground, but otherwise didn't see much of the park or lake. Lots of floaters and kayaks there. Obviously well-loved and well-used park. One newer showers and restroom set-up was nice & clean. Older bathhouse not so much (right by playground). Watch out for kids on the road! Reservation system adequate. Recommend calling park about sites first, if you have big rig.

| Small sites

It's an ok park I guess. Small sites and confusing way finding. Some areas are one way, some are not, site # signs are hard to see. Not big rig friendly.

| Nice Park

We just stayed over night. Many sites would be tight for sun blockers/5th wheels. On many sites it is necessary to unhitched from even small trailers. Restrooms are dated but seem clean enough.

| A beautiful spot

This is a great place convenient, scenic and affordable. The facilities are a bit dated garnering a 3 star from me.

Camped there for two nights in handicap site. They even gave a senior citizen rate!
