The park is not fancy... basic gravel spaces with 30amp power FHU. That said, it's also big rig friendly, quiet, safe (gated) and is really the only big rig option for touring the south sound. Temps here are generally cool so 30amp didn't cramp our style. Mount Rushmore, Seattle, Ocean City are all easy day trips not to mention Tumwater Falls and downtown Olympia among other awesome local sites. Washington Land Yacht Harbor has about 100 RV spaces and is attached to/owned by a community of Airstream owners (thus the name Land Yacht Harbor). Don't expect to be waterfront, but until someone builds a luxury RV resort in the south sound this is the place to stay.
I've had better facilities dry camping. Nothing more than a gravel parking lot with hookups. No showers, no toilets, waited a 30 minutes for someone to check us in. Person who was suppose to be working didn't show. Don't let the exotic name fool you. Only reason I gave this place one start was because the spaces were wide and easy to back into if your good at backing into a space.
Very very small sites 8' betwern units but great price. Not level. Must have extra long sewet hose ad all services were in the back. Central location to visit Olympic Natl Park and Rainier Ntl Park.
