| Not much of an RV campground

By user-5455592... on 2017-10-23.

It's okay for overnight. If you're over 36 feet it would be a tight fit. If you have a trailer you'll more than likely have to unhook. For 20 bucks we had water, sewer and 50 amp. Spaces limited.

| Very "no frills" to be sure

It was a place to park. Not a particularly pretty place, but off the main road, so traffic noise was minimal. We chose our place, got hooked up with water and electric, paid for the slot, then an hour later realized that the electrical for our site didn't work. The RV was drawing down the battery. No management to talk to, so we simply hijacked the empty slot's electrical for the rest of the night. Luckily, no one else tried to come in there. This campground would be better to be charging less, and paying a little more attention to keeping their utilities working. (Talking to another camper, we weren't the only ones with a bad electrical hookup.) Thank goodness for the truck-stop on the interstate for having nice shower facilities. It made our stay bearable. If we ever come back to Watertown, we'll look for another alternative - perhaps the city park out near the lake.
