Reviews for Wayne County Fairgrounds & RV Park

| No Frills Fairgrounds Camping

The campsite was what I thought it would be for a fairground campsite. Clean, but no frills. The bathroom was quite far from out site and there was only one of them. This is definitely not a place to spend several days at, but a place you can park your camper and see some nearby sites. It was inexpensive, quiet and the services worked which is fine for a place to park for a night or two. I would not recommend it for a vacation site to play at; it is a competent site to come back to at the end of sightseeing.

As someone else wrote, it's a no frills campground, but very nice. Definitely would stay again. Although not noted in the description, they do have WiFi.

Now that the Fairgrounds has full hookups, this is a great place to use to see the sights. Great staff.

Typical fairground camping. The sites have electric and water. Dump station is very easy to get to/use. We parked on grass, in a nice spot. Pull through sites available. Easy to drive to Ford Museum from there

Good Fair Ground camp. We were between 2 buildings on grass and all hook-ups worked fine. Staff was nice. We stayed here in order to go to Henry Ford Museum. Very easy route to museum. Henry Ford and Greenfield Village were wonderful! We bought yearly membership as best value. If we return by June 29, 2019 we will definitely stay at Wayne County Fairground again.

Nothing fancy - fairly level pull-thru site. Good W/E, dump station. Some FHU. Walmart directly next door - paved path to get there for stocking up. Good OTA signal. WiFi thru-out park. Would stay there again. Approx. 1/2 hr. to Henry Ford museum/village.

Very convenient. 4th time I've stayed here. Close to Yankee Air Museum for Thunder over Michigan and not too bad to get to downtown Detroit. Have full hookups but no cable. Great and friendly staff. Definitely will stay here again.
