Large sites, still needs a lot of work but new management is working on. Some long term residents but they are very friendly. Small open air bar on the river that is mostly visited by the local long terms. Worth the trip just to sit and have a beer with them. My only issue is the sulfer water from the springs that can bet real bad if the wind is blowing the right way.
No longer a KOA. Needs a lot of improvements to site. Some sites have long runs for power and sewer. Generally parking on grass
We had a blast. One of the restroom facilities was out of order on one of their busiest weekends. Other then that it was a great place.
Had a small gator in the steam. Glad I didn't see mom and dad
New management now its a great place to go. They are nice and eager to help.
Eager to please and run a tight ship..making lots improvements.. not sure but don't think its a koa anymore
Found this place on line. Wasn’t sure but the photos looked great. Arrived in the rain. Our site was too small . They graciously gave us an assortment of different sites to go look at. We found a site that is just perfect. All sites are grass so an imagination is sometimes needed. Lots of activities, the place is well kept, people are very friendly. Great place to snow bird. Glad we are here.
This park is currently going through a transition between owners but seems to be for the best. As new rvers they were unbelievably helpful from making reservations to backing into our site. We will stay here again.
I come here often. It's a great place to get away for the weekend with your camper. I was sad to find out the Tiki Bar has closed when it was sold to the new owners.
The park has many amenities, however if you are arriving late you may not get a spot. They close early and don't take calls after 6 pm. The lots are grass and if arriving in rain may be soft in spots. There is a good Moble repair service near by master pro. It is quiet and the palace is large with several hundred close nit sites. Check out their pics. The office opens at 8 am and not before. We thought a little pricey for a one night only stay.
Very clean, friendly but also little to noisy with bikers driving around. Staff was friendly and over all great place to stop for few days. Store and laundery available.
Campground was nice and clean but catered to the full timers. It was spring break and yet the tiki bar and tiki grill was never open our entire stay (Sunday evening through Thursday morning) and no planned kids activities (only adult activities planned). Disappointing for the money and the fact it was spring break.
